Delete your account
How to delete your Zyrilo account and its data, from the app or without it, and what is kept afterwards.

You can delete your Zyrilo account at any time. This page explains how, what is removed and what we have to keep.
1. Delete it in the app
- Open Zyrilo and go to your Profile.
- Tap the menu, then Privacy & Settings.
- Tap Account, then Delete account, and confirm.
You are signed out on every device straight away. Want a copy of your data first? Tap Download my data on the same screen before you delete.
2. Without the app
No longer have the app? Email contact@zyrilo.app from any address, with the subject "Delete my account" and the mobile number you signed up with. We will check that the request comes from the account holder, then delete the account and confirm by email. You can also use the grievance form.
3. What is deleted
Your profile is hidden at once. If you change your mind, sign back in within 30 days and the deletion is cancelled. After 30 days it is permanent: your mobile number is erased, your name, handle, bio and photo are removed, and your posts, reviews, comments and saved lists are deleted.
4. What is kept
Some records are kept because the law requires it or to protect other users: earnings, payout and tax records for as long as tax and accounting laws require, records of moderation decisions and grievances, and what we need to stop banned accounts returning. They are not used to identify you for any other purpose. See How long we keep it in the Privacy Policy.
5. Deleting only some data
You can delete individual posts, reviews and comments in the app at any time. To ask us to erase other specific data without deleting your account, write to contact@zyrilo.app.
